An AFL All-Star during his first two years, Bob Griese went on to earn Pro Bowl honors in six more seasons. His leadership played an important role in helping the Dolphins compete in three consecutive Super Bowls, winning the latter two contests. In addition, Griese was the catalyst that led the Dolphins to finish the 1972 season undefeated, still the only team to ever accomplish that feat. Griese was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990. Since his playing days ended, Griese has been one of the top commentators for ABC in their coverage of college football.
