John is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former lead solo pilot of the Blue Angels. He holds masters’ degrees in business management, from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (as a Sloan Fellow); in international policy studies, from Stanford University; and in strategic studies, from the Naval War College.
