Edyta Śliwińska is a professional ballroom dancer who is currently starring in a stage show “Dance Temptation.” She is best known for her appearances on the American version of the reality television series Dancing with the Stars, where she appeared on all of the first ten seasons of the show. She has partnered with: boxing champion Evander Holyfield, actor George Hamilton, actor Joey Lawrence, actor John Ratzenberger, soap opera actor Cameron Mathison, football player Jason Taylor, comedian Jeffrey Ross, football player Lawrence Taylor, singer-songwriter Ashley Hamilton, and soap opera star Aiden Turner. Edyta has been on the “Dancing with the Stars” tour and was featured in the fitness section of the new book. Edyta is a 5 time US National Finalist. In addition to many Polish commercials Edyta was featured in the “Jared Galleria of Jewelry” commercial in the US. Edyta and her husband Alec Mazo, also a dancer on Dancing with the Stars, recently produced an instructional DVD “Dancing like the Pros” and a fitness DVD “Fitness with the Pros”. Edyta moved to the United States in 2000 to form a professional dance partnership with Alec. She was a director/choreographer at “Genesis DanceSport” in San Francisco for seven years. Now, Edyta and Alec run the San Francisco and Los Angeles locations of the school.
