Who is Neon Trees?
Neon Trees is an alternative rock band that formed in Provo, Utah in 2005, with origins in
Southern California. Formed initially by neighbors Tyler Glenn (lead vocals/keyboards) and Chris Allen
(guitars), the band made its first home in Provo, eventually adding Branden Campbell (bass) and Elaine
Bradley (drums/vocals) to the lineup.
The band received nationwide exposure in late 2008 when they opened several North American tour dates for
the band The Killers.
They have also toured with bands such as Sublime with Rome, Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Script, Mutemath,
Shiny Toy Guns, My Chemical Romance, Duran Duran and Young the Giant.
Not long after, the band was signed by Mercury Records and released their first full-length
album, Habits, in 2010. Their first single “Animal” climbed to #13 on the BillboardHot
100 and #1 on the Alternative Rock Chart.
