The duo, consisting of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, first met in Sydney, Australia, in the mid-1970s, and their musical collaboration soon blossomed into a prolific and enduring partnership.

Graham Russell, born on June 11, 1950, in Nottingham, England, and Russell Hitchcock, born on June 15, 1949, in Melbourne, Australia, shared a common passion for music and a mutual vision to create emotionally resonant songs that would leave a lasting impression on listeners. Their harmonious blend of Russell Hitchcock's soaring tenor vocals and Graham Russell's songwriting prowess became the hallmark of Air Supply's distinctive sound.

Their live Jerusalem, Israel show was filmed for a DVD produced in 2011, featuring two new songs, “Sanctuary” and “Everywhere.”
