Joe Morgan, a former Major League Baseball second baseman, played for the Houston Astros, Cincinnati Reds, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, and Oakland A’s. The spark plug of Cincinnati’s “Big Red Machine,” he won two World Series Championships with the Reds in 1975 and 1976. Joe was named to eight consecutive All-Star teams and received back-to-back MVP honors in 1975 and ’76. He also became the first player to steal 60 bases and hit more than 25 home runs, a feat he accomplished twice. A 1990 inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Joe worked as a baseball broadcaster for ESPN and now hosts a weekly nationally syndicated radio show for Sports USA and acts as a special adviser to the Reds.
